This year there were 449 suggestions were made by government and civil society participants in the OGP process. These are from private individuals as well as ideas gathered at public events and a large number that were co-created by civil society and government officials at workshops organised by the State Services Commission.
The next step is a co-creation workshop attended by government officials and civil society representatives and members of the government appointed ‘special advisory group’. and the expectation is that the government will adopt between 5 and 15 actions from amongst those suggested as a result of the workshops to refine the ideas.
